engine damage

If the engine unexpectedly stops at full speed, a piston seizure may be responsible. Under unfavorable circumstances, this leads to irreparable engine damage, which makes it necessary to completely replace the engine.

Cause: It can occur when there is too little or no oil or the wrong lubricant is used. Excess oil is also dangerous.

Incorrect valve setting

Cause:
The valve clearance was set too tight by an authorized workshop!

Consequence:
The valve no longer closes properly. Combustion gases flowing past the valve seat heat up the valve disk. The valve disk in the seat area overheats and burns through.

Wiring harness renewal

If there is a short circuit, the device in question will not work. The electrical resistance in the circuit decreases. The electrical current can become so high that the conductors heat up and fire or other consequential damage can result.

The driver of the vehicle was lucky that the fire did not break out.

Bearing damage in the gearbox

By far the most common cause of bearing damage in the gearbox is problems with the lubrication. Impurities in the gear oil, incorrect gear oil, old gear oil or too little gear oil are responsible for more than 2/3 of all bearing damage in gears.

engine repair

Engine damage due to decreasing compression is often due to a defective cylinder head gasket or broken glow plugs or spark plugs as well as a defective injection valve. Such engine damage is often noticeable through a jerking engine, misfires or a decreasing engine performance of the car.
